Fairhaven Celebrates 60 Years of Service to the Community of the Central Coast
We had another excellent meeting at Baker St Restaurant, with our guest speaker Rhonda Wheatley joining us to talk about the celebrations at Fairhaven Services as they recognise 60 years of service to the community. Please see Rhonda's presentation below.
At Gosford City we love Youth Programs. Rhonda talked to us about their youth vocation program, getting young people ready for employment opportunities. The Government has ceased funding for this program, Rhonda is looking to work with local businesses and supporters to keep this program running. Our club is looking to support with a contribution to support the consumables/materials budget. It was pleasing to note that Rotary connections has helped opened doors for Rhonda to talk seriously about partnering with a local business to support this funding gap.
