This Mother’s Day, the Rotary Club of Gosford City is helping the community show love to
mums – and local causes – through its much-loved annual Mother’s Day Flower Sale.
Taking place Sunday 11th May 2025 from 7am until sold out, the sale will pop up at three
convenient locations:
- McDonald’s – West Gosford
- Anaconda – West Gosford
- The Appliance Centre – East Gosford
Locals can purchase beautiful, freshly wrapped, high-quality flower bunches for just $30.
Each bunch is sourced locally and lovingly prepared on the morning to ensure freshness and vibrant variety – perfect for making Mum’s day extra special.
But this is more than just flowers – it’s a gift that gives back.
Funds raised from the event support the Rotary Club of Gosford City’s community projects
and local charities, which in recent years have included mental health initiatives, youth
scholarships, disaster recovery efforts, and support for food security programs. The Club
also works closely with other local organisations to support vulnerable members of the
Gosford community.
President Anne Charlton said the annual flower sale is one of the Club’s most important
fundraisers.
“Buying a bunch of flowers from us on Mother’s Day means you’re not just making
someone’s day – you’re helping make a real difference to the lives of people in our
community,” Ms Charlton said.
“Every petal, every purchase, supports local.”
Rotary Club of Gosford City is part of Rotary International, a global network of volunteers
working to create lasting change both locally and around the world.
So, come Sunday 11 May, skip the supermarket flowers and support local with a fresh bunch
of joy – for Mum, and for Gosford.
