Where else can you meet like minded people from across the globe.
Tremendous to get together this morning with our international friends from Twin Cities (Centralia-Chehalis)
in Washington State in the US. We thank and acknowledge the effort of everyone to get together across international boundaries, different time zones and communicating via screens!
Today we connected by zoom and heard about the broad range of projects undertaken by both clubs. Twin Cities work across their district providing substantial support to their local community. In addition, Twin Cities support a range of international projects in Mexico, India and Guatemala through partnerships with local district clubs and international clubs.
Both of our clubs have a focus on service, we are both progressive clubs who make a substantial contribution locally and internationally. We are very excited about the prospect of working together.
One of the wonderful parts of the meeting was to share fellowship listen to the stories of each of the members from across both clubs. Whilst everyone has a different background, we are combined by our determination to serve through the powerful vehicle that is Rotary.
Thankyou Natassia for sharing this much needed project being undertaken right here on the Central Coast. This is of interest to all of us to search for better outcomes for our elderly and the journey all of us will take.
